David leads our Business team. He has more than 35 years of experience as a commercial lawyer in private and corporate practice.
He has a special interest in mergers and acquisitions; regularly advising clients on due diligence, acquisition and sales, and restructuring to private equity, public companies and small to medium sized businesses.
David is known for delivering legal advice that is practical, commercially sound and easy to understand. He ensures the business team follow the golden rule: always seek to understand the client first - their industry, individual needs and circumstances - before providing proactive advice to grow and add value in their business.
A well-grounded commercial lawyer, David makes valuable contributions to many clients' business affairs and serves as Chair and Advisor to many SME boards. He works across Australia and advises clients on expansion in New Zealand, USA and UK.
