Lachlan is a Special Counsel in our Commercial Litigation team, with extensive experience acting in complex and high-value disputes.

His litigation practice spans trust disputes, professional negligence claims, leasing and contractual disputes, insurance recoveries, and matters involving significant misappropriation of funds. He advises and represents a broad client base, including insurers, national building suppliers, motor dealer groups, and businesses ranging from SMEs to large enterprises.

Lachlan also advises employers across a wide range of workplace matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, restructures, redundancies, and executive terminations. He has a strong track record in defending unfair dismissal and general protections claims, as well as advising on bullying, harassment, and discrimination issues.

He regularly assists with drafting and reviewing workplace policies and work health and safety compliance, and he has significant experience conducting independent workplace investigations. In addition, Lachlan provides strategic advice to executives and professionals on employment terms, contract negotiations, incentive arrangements, and exit strategies.

He has also acted for a number of medium to large motor dealer groups over the last 13 years, advising and representing them in relation to general law matters and consumer law disputes. His experience includes handling a broad range of commercial issues within the automotive industry, delivering practical and commercially focused outcomes.
