James is a Senior Associate in our Property and Hospitality team with a wide variety of experience in commercial property law, having advised clients on related matters since his admission in 2017.

James has extensive experience acting in matters involving the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties and businesses of varying natures and sizes across a range of industry sectors, including industrial warehouses, retail shopping centres, pubs, and hotels. He is also experienced in preparing and advising upon commercial leases.

Throughout the course of his career, James has obtained particular interest and expertise in property development. He has experience in conducting due diligence for site acquisitions, subdivision, strata titling and body corporate, community and building management statements and rights, pre-sale requirements, and sale conveyancing.

James regularly works with property/asset managers, consultants, business operators and development managers. He understands the importance of providing his clients with clear, practical, and tailored advice to achieve commercial solutions.
