Michael acts for property developers, investors, hotel and restaurant operators; and has significant experience in sales and purchases of hotels and restaurants representing individuals and corporate groups.
Michael acts for a number of clients involved with property development. This work includes advice on due diligence, strata title, subdivision, building management statements, body corporate, sales contracts, dealings with project lenders, pre-sale requirements, management rights and conveyancing through to final completion. He also acts for developers in relation to building and construction contract negotiations including residential unit projects, industrial and commercial developments and land subdivisions.
Hotels are complex businesses and clients value Michael's substantial experience in these matters, including all aspects of liquor and gaming applications.
Michael draws on this extensive property experience to oversee Mullins' residential conveyancing division for the firm's private clients where he acts to properly protect client interests and avoid pitfalls associated with property transactions.
